Abstract

This study aims to: 1) examine motivational factors (motivator and hygiene factors) affecting employee work performance; 2) investigate desirable employee behaviors affecting work performance; and 3) examine technology acceptance factors affecting work performance. The population consisted of 5,409 employees at the Government Saving Bank Head Office. Using Yamane's (1967) formula at a 95% confidence level, a sample of 400 employees was obtained. A questionnaire was used for data collection, and the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics (percentage, mean, and standard deviation) and multiple regression analysis. Results revealed that most respondents were female, aged 31–40 years, with 1–10 years of work experience, holding a bachelor's degree, and earning 20,000 baht or less per month. Factors significantly affecting work performance at the .05 level included achievement, recognition, the creative and challenging nature of work, interpersonal relationships, job position, wages and benefits, tolerant behavior, conscientious behavior, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and attitudes towards technology.
