FACTORS AFFECTING SELF-DISCIPLINE OF SAKON NAKHON RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

Abstract

        The objective of this research is to 1) study the level of the self-discipline of students of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, 2) compare the students' self-discipline according to personal factors, and 3) study the factors of democratic parenting Responsibility in organizing activities to promote discipline that affects self-discipline among students of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University. The sample group is Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University students; 381 students from Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University used the landscape sampling method by using questionnaires to collect data, and the statistics used in the data analysis were frequency, percentage, and mean standard deviation. Furthermore, multiple regression analysis. Researchers found that: 1) the democratic upbringing of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University students was at a moderate level. Students' responsibility at Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University was at a moderate level. Organizing activities to promote the discipline of students at Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University Overall, it is at a high level. The self-discipline of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University students was at a moderate level. 2) democratic parenting (X₁) (β=-.027) had a statistically significant influence on the self-discipline of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University students at the .05 level. In contrast, the responsibility aspect (X₂) (β= .483) had a significant influence on the self-discipline of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University students. Statistics at the .05 level and the aspect of organizing activities to promote discipline (X₃) (β=.327). It had a statistically significant influence on the self-discipline of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University students at the .05 level. They were able to jointly predict the self-discipline level of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University students by 36.20 percent( =.362)
