Abstract

This research was designed with two primary objectives: (1) to delve into the contentment levels regarding the quality of life experienced by individuals who engaged with the Muang District Office in Surat Thani Province, and (2) to comprehensively explore the satisfaction levels pertaining to the quality of life among individuals who made contact with the Muang District Office in Surat Thani Province. The research encompassed a targeted population, comprising individuals who interacted with the Muang District Office in Surat Thani Province during the months of February to March 2023. A meticulously selected sample size of 288 participants was determined through the application of a specific random sampling methodology. The principal instruments employed for data acquisition were structured questionnaires. The subsequent data analysis was performed utilizing statistical measures encompassing frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.


   Summarizing the research findings, it is discerned that the general consensus of the participants, across all three evaluated dimensions, registered at a commendably high level, with an average value of  = 3.54. Upon closer examination of each dimension, the following can be elucidated: the dimension of employment exhibited the highest mean score,    = 3.62, followed closely by education with a mean value of    = 3.53. In contrast, the dimension related to public health recorded the lowest mean score,    = 3.46. Furthermore, an analysis of the suggestions put forth concerning satisfaction with the quality of life among individuals who sought assistance from the Muang District Office in Surat Thani Province was conducted. When arranged in descending order of frequency, the observations can be summarized as follows: the item that garnered the highest frequency, i.e., a non-specific recommendation, was cited by 272 respondents, representing a significant 94.44%. These individuals appeared to frequent educational institutions with heightened vigilance, likely influenced by the current abundance of news regarding educational institutions in the locality, perhaps as a precautionary measure to safeguard their children's well-being. It is also noteworthy that a portion of respondents, comprising 1 individual and representing 0.34%, expressed the desire for government agencies to extend assistance to underprivileged children, thus ensuring equitable access to education. Moreover, they advocated for community engagement to identify and cultivate careers that align with individual aspirations, recognizing the invaluable insights that local residents possess about community resources.
