Submission Roadmap with Conditions for Rejection / Decline

เพื่อให้กระบวนการส่งบทความและการพิจารณาบทความของวารสารธรรมเพื่อชีวิต (Dhamma for Life Journal) เป็นไปอย่างมีมาตรฐาน โปร่งใส ตรวจสอบได้ และสอดคล้องกับหลักวิชาการสากล กองบรรณาธิการจึงออกประกาศฉบับนี้เพื่อกำหนดขั้นตอนการส่งบทความ (Submission Roadmap) พร้อมเงื่อนไขที่อาจนำไปสู่การปฏิเสธหรือไม่รับตีพิมพ์บทความ (Conditions for Rejection / Decline) ดังรายละเอียดต่อไปนี้

To ensure that the submission and review processes of the Dhamma for Life Journal are conducted with high standards, transparency, accountability, and in accordance with international academic principles, the Editorial Board hereby issues this announcement to establish the official Submission Roadmap together with the Conditions for Rejection or Decline of manuscripts submitted for publication.

The decision of the Tribunal is final. การพิจารณาของกองบรรณาการถือเป็นที่สิ้นสุด		Once the publication fee has been paid, if the article is rejected, the journal reserves the right not to refund the publication fee in any case, as the article management process is conducted on the basis of the costs already paid by the author. เมื่อชำระค่าตีพิมพ์แล้วหากถูกปฏิเสธบทความวารสารขอสงวนสิทธิ์ในการไม่คืนค่าธรรมเนียมการตีพิมพ์ในทุกกรณี เนื่องจากกระบวนการบริหารจัดการบทความได้ดำเนินการบนพื้นฐานค่าใช้จ่ายที่ผู้แต่งได้ชำระแล้ว

 

 

 

 

การถูกปฏิเสธเมื่อมีเหตุผลที่สมควรปฏิเสธ / ไม่รับพิจารณา ดังนี้

Possible Reasons for Rejection / Decline

1) Topic outside journal scope (e.g., non-humanities unrelated to Buddhism or social sciences). Ethical approval missing for human/animal research. Plagiarism or originality issues หัวข้อไม่อยู่ในขอบเขตวารสาร ไม่มีเอกสารรับรองจริยธรรมงานวิจัย พบปัญหาลอกเลียนหรือไม่เป็นต้นฉบับ

2) Missing required files (manuscript, references, IRB approval, etc.). Incorrect file format or incomplete submission. Duplicate submission in other journals. ขาดเอกสารที่จำเป็น ไฟล์ไม่ถูกต้องหรือส่งไม่สมบูรณ์ ส่งซ้ำซ้อนที่วารสารอื่น

3) Manuscript formatting does not follow journal guidelines. Article does not meet basic academic standards. Manuscript similarity index above acceptable threshold. Content contradicts journal ethics or aims. กองบรรณาธิการตรวจสอบโครงสร้าง รูปแบบ ความสอดคล้องกับวัตถุประสงค์และขอบเขต, รูปแบบต้นฉบับไม่ถูกต้อง, ไม่ผ่านมาตรฐานวิชาการพื้นฐาน, คะแนนความซ้ำสูงเกินเกณฑ์, เนื้อหาขัดแย้งกับหลักจริยธรรม

4) Methodology is weak or flawed Insufficient evidence, unclear arguments, or inaccurate citations. Serious academic errors or lack of contribution to the field. Reviewers unanimously recommend rejection. ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยไม่แข็งแรง, มีข้อมูลสนับสนุนไม่เพียงพอ, ข้อผิดพลาดทางวิชาการร้ายแรง,ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิเห็นควรปฏิเสธทั้งหมด

5) Author fails to revise according to reviewer/editor comments. Inadequate or superficial revision. Resubmission exceeding specified timeline without justification over contract 3 moths will automatic decline. ไม่ปรับตามข้อเสนอแนะ, แก้ไขไม่เพียงพอหรือไม่ตรงประเด็น, ส่งกลับล่าช้าโดยไม่มีเหตุผล และไม่ติดต่อกลับวารสารเกิน 3 เดือน บทความจะถูกปฏิเสธทันที

6) Revision still does not meet academic standards. Major issues remain unresolved. Manuscript still unsuitable for publication despite revision. มาตรฐานวิชาการไม่เพียงพอ, ประเด็นสำคัญยังแก้ไขไม่ครบ, เนื้อหายังไม่เหมาะสมสำหรับตีพิมพ์

7) Failure to pay publication fee. Payment proof not submitted or unverifiable. Author withdraws article voluntarily. ไม่ชำระค่าธรรมเนียม, หลักฐานการโอนไม่สามารถตรวจสอบได้, ผู้เขียนขอถอนบทความ

8) Serious language problems that hinder proper editing. Issues with permission for copyrighted images/tables. Do not reference AI-generated images. Add a clarification text under the AI image and date it to maintain publication ethics. Major inconsistencies discovered during formatting. ปัญหาภาษารุนแรงเกินแก้ไข, มีการละเมิดลิขสิทธิ์รูปภาพ/ตาราง, ไม่ทำการอ้างอิง ภาพที่เกิดขึ้นจาก AI ให้เพิ่มข้อความชี้แจง ใต้ภาพ AI และลงวันที่เพื่อรักษาจริยธรรมการตีพิมพ์, พบความไม่สอดคล้องด้านรูปแบบ

9) Author fails to respond to proofreading requests. Author disputes journal editing standards without resolution. Significant errors found that require restart of review. ไม่ตอบกลับตามกำหนด 2 สัปดาห์, โต้แย้งการแก้ไขของกองบรรณาธิการโดยไม่สามารถตกลงกันได้, พบข้อผิดพลาดร้ายแรงที่ต้องเริ่มกระบวนการใหม่

10) Ethical concerns discovered at late stage. Author requests withdrawal after final approval. Article fails final verification for academic or ethical compliance. พบปัญหาจริยธรรมภายหลัง, ผู้เขียนขอถอนบทความหลังอนุมัติพิสูจน์, ไม่ผ่านการตรวจสอบขั้นสุดท้าย

ข้อกำหนดเพิ่มเติม (Additional Provisions)

1. บทความต้องเป็นงานต้นฉบับ ไม่เคยตีพิมพ์หรือส่งที่อื่นมาก่อน
2. ต้องปฏิบัติตามหลักจริยธรรมงานวิจัยอย่างเคร่งครัด
3. กองบรรณาธิการมีสิทธิ์ปฏิเสธบทความในทุกขั้นตอน หากพบการละเมิดหลักวิชาการ
4. บทความที่ผ่านการพิจารณาจะถูกจัดลงในฉบับตามรอบการตีพิมพ์ของวารสาร

Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

This journal permits the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and AI-assisted technologies for language improvement, translation, formatting, and other supportive functions. Authors must disclose any substantive use of AI in the manuscript. AI tools cannot be listed as authors and cannot assume responsibility for the work. Authors remain fully accountable for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and ethical compliance of all submitted content. Failure to disclose significant AI use or the submission of AI-generated fabricated content may result in rejection, retraction, or other editorial actions.

Authors are required to disclose any use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and AI-assisted technologies in a dedicated section entitled “Declaration of AI Use.” This declaration must clearly identify the AI tool(s) utilized, describe the purpose of their use, and specify the extent of their contribution to the manuscript. All AI-generated content must be critically reviewed, validated, and, where necessary, revised by the authors. The authors retain full responsibility for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and scholarly quality of the manuscript and must ensure that all content complies with the journal’s ethical and publication standards prior to submission.

Policy on the Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and AI-Assisted Technologies in Scholarly Publishing

1. Purpose

This journal supports the responsible, transparent, and ethical use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and AI-assisted technologies in scholarly research and publication. The policy aims to maintain research integrity, accountability, originality, and transparency while allowing appropriate use of emerging technologies.

2. General Principles
3. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, validity, and integrity of all submitted content, regardless of whether AI tools were used.
4. AI systems, including but not limited to ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, Midjourney, DALL·E, and similar technologies, cannot be listed as authors or co-authors.
5. AI tools cannot assume legal responsibility, intellectual accountability, conflict-of-interest disclosure, or copyright ownership.
6. Any substantive use of AI must be transparently disclosed.
7. Acceptable Use of AI

Authors may use AI tools for:

• Language editing and grammar correction and independently validated.
• Improving readability and writing style and independently validated.
• Translation assistance and independently validated.
• Formatting and reference style checking and independently validated.
• Preliminary idea exploration and literature organization and independently validated.
• Coding assistance, provided that all outputs are verified by the authors and independently validated.
• Data processing support, provided that the methodology is fully described and independently validated.

4. Prohibited Use of AI

The following practices are not permitted:

• Listing AI as an author or co-author.
• Generating or fabricating research data, results, images, tables, or references.
• Creating fictitious citations or unverifiable sources.
• Using AI to produce conclusions that are not supported by the actual research.
• Submitting AI-generated content without human review and verification.
• Using AI to conceal plagiarism, duplicate publication, or other forms of academic misconduct.

5. Disclosure Requirements

Authors must disclose the use of AI-assisted technologies in a separate section entitled:

“Declaration of AI and AI-Assisted Technologies”

The declaration should include:

• Name of the AI tool(s) used.
• Purpose of use.
• Extent of use.
• Human verification and editing procedures undertaken.

Example:

"During the preparation of this manuscript, the authors used ChatGPT (OpenAI) for language editing and grammar refinement. All outputs generated by the AI tool were reviewed, revised, and verified by the authors, who take full responsibility for the final content of the manuscript."

6. Editorial Assessment

The editorial office reserves the right to:

• Request additional disclosure regarding AI use.
• Request submission of prompts or records of AI-generated outputs when necessary.
• Conduct originality, integrity, and verification checks.
• Reject manuscripts where AI use compromises scientific rigor, transparency, or ethical standards.

7. Consequences of Non-Disclosure

Failure to disclose significant AI use may constitute a breach of publication ethics and may result in:

• Rejection prior to publication.
• Retraction after publication.
• Notification to the authors' institutions.
• Temporary or permanent submission restrictions.
