Adversity Quotient of Administrators and High Performance Organization of Schools Under the Samutsakhon Primary Educational Service Area Office

Abstract
The objectives of this research were to determine 1) the administrator’s adversity quotient of schools under the Samutsakhon Primary Educational Service Area Office 2) the high performance organization of schools under the Samutsakhon Primary Educational Service Area Office and 3) the relationship between administrator’s adversity quotient and high performance organization of schools under the Samutsakhon Primary Educational Service Area Office. The sample of this research consists 86 schools under the Samutsakhon Primary Educational Service Area Office. The respondents from each school consisted of one school administrator and one teacher, in the total of 172 respondents. The instrument employed for data collection was a opinionnaire about the administrator’s adversity quotient concept based on Stoltz and high performance organization concept based on Linder and Brooks. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation and Pearson' s Product Moment Correlation Coefficient.
The research findings were as follows: 1. The administrator’s adversity quotient of schools under the Samutsakhon Primary Educational Service Area Office, as a whole and an individual, were at the highest level. The arithmetic mean ranking from the highest to lowest were as follows; 1) origin and ownership, 2) endurance, 3) control and 4) reach. 2. The high performance organization of schools under the Samutsakhon Primary Educational Service Area Office, as a whole and an individual, were at the highest level. The arithmetic mean ranking from the highest to lowest were as follows; 1) passionate, 2) open and collaborative, 3) accountable, 4) innovative and flexible, 5) outcome – oriented and 6) client – centered. 3. The relationship between administrator’s adversity quotient and high performance organization of schools under the Samutsakhon Primary Educational Service Area Office were in a high correlation with a significance level at .01.
