Abstract

This research has two objectives: 1) to study the management of the learning environment in schools under the jurisdiction of the Sukhothai Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, and 2) to examine the relationship between the management of the learning environment and the effectiveness of the learning management in schools. The study used a questionnaire as the data collection tool, and the sample group consisted of school administrators and teachers in schools under the Sukhothai Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, totaling 313 people, calculated using Taro Yamane's formula, with simple random sampling. Data analysis was conducted using various statistical methods, including frequency and percentage, mean and standard deviation, and hypothesis testing using Pearson's correlation.

The study's results revealed that the management of the learning environment in various areas, such as the physical environment, academic environment, and management environment, was rated at the highest and high levels, with the physical environment being the most efficiently managed, followed by the academic and management environments, respectively. Additionally, the study found that the management of the learning environment had a positive relationship with the effectiveness of learning management in schools, especially in areas such as curriculum design and learning activities that promote critical thinking skills and the use of diverse teaching materials. The study recommends that schools develop strategies for managing educational resources, particularly communication with stakeholders, personnel development, and the development of information technology for education. It also emphasizes the importance of community and external social involvement in managing the learning environment to improve the effectiveness of learning management.
