Performance Achievement Motive of School Administrators Affecting the Effectiveness Personnel Management Under the Suphanburi Primary Education Service Area Office 2

Abstract


This research article aims to: 1) study the achievement motivation of school administrators under the jurisdiction of the Suphanburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. 2) examine the effectiveness of personnel management under the jurisdiction of the Suphanburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. and 3) analyze the influence of achievement motivation of school administrators on the effectiveness of personnel management under the jurisdiction of the Suphanburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2.


The sample consisted of 103 schools under the Suphanburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, with a total of 206 respondents. The research instrument was a questionnaire, and data were analyzed using statistical software. The statistical methods employed included frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis for hypothesis testing.


The research findings revealed the following :


    1. The overall level of achievement motivation among school administrators under the jurisdiction of the Suphanburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 was high. Considering individual aspects, all were rated high, ranked from highest to lowest as follows: self-responsibility, enthusiasm, planning, risk-taking, ambition, and uniqueness.


    2. The overall effectiveness of personnel management under the jurisdiction of the Suphanburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 was high. Considering individual aspects, all were rated high, ranked from highest to lowest as follows: workforce planning, personnel development, utilization, recruitment, and retention.


    3. The analysis of the influence of achievement motivation on the effectiveness of personnel management under the jurisdiction of the Suphanburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 demonstrated statistical significance at the .05 level. The key factors, ranked by importance, were risk-taking, planning, self-responsibility, and uniqueness. The multiple correlation coefficient (Multiple R) was .877, and the variables collectively predicted the effectiveness of personnel management at 76.8% (R² = .768). which can be written as a regression analysis equation as follows.
