Abstract

The objectives of this thesis were: 1) to study personnel management in schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Suphanburi, 2) to study the quality of students under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Suphanburi and, 3) to study the impact of personnel management on student quality under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Suphanburi. The sample in this research was 32 schools in the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Suphanburi. The data collected from 224 respondents. The instrument used in this study was questionnaires. Data were analyzed using statistical software. The statistics used in the analysis are frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and hypothesis testing through stepwise multiple regression analysis. The results of the research ware as follows: 1) Personnel management in schools was rated as highly effective overall. The most highly rated aspects were the recruitment of efficient personnel, professional development of school staff, motivation of teachers and education officers, problem-solving guidance for teachers and education officers and the appropriate allocation of personnel to suitable responsibilities. 2) Student quality was also rated as high overall. The most highly rated aspects included morality, desirable values, good health, aesthetic appreciation, work skills, and positive attitudes toward honest careers. Students demonstrated essential knowledge and skills aligned with the curriculum, the ability for independent learning and self-development, and systematic, creative, and rational problem-solving skills. 3) The personnel management in schools affected student quality were motivation of teachers and education officers, the appropriate allocation of personnel to responsibilities, and efficient recruitment. These three variables explained 56.6% of the variance in student quality (R² = 0.566). The forecast equations derived from the analysis were as follows:
