The Performance Model of Secondary School Teachers

Abstract

The purposes of this research were: 1) to know the performance model of secondary school teachers and 2) to know the results of confirming the performance model of secondary school teachers. The sample size used was secondary schools. Under the Office of the Basic Education Commission set sample size Using Taro Yamane's sample was 345 schools and used the schools as the unit of analysis. The informants werecomposes of 3 respondents; school director, deputy school director and academic affairs teacher, with a total of 1,035 respondents. The instruments for collecting the data were semi-structured interview and opinionnaires. The statistics used to analyze the data were frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, exploratory factor analysis, and content analysis. The results of research were found that: 1. The major component performance efficiency model of secondary school teachers composed of 5 components. 1) Professional teachers 2) Classroom Management 3) The Spirituality of Teachers 4) Work commitment 5) Being a positive role model 2. The confirmation of the performance model of secondary school teachers toward effectiveness were found with accuracy, propriety, feasibility and utility.
