Abstract

This research article aims to 1. Study the Four Ultimate Truths 2. Study Aristotle's Philosophy 3. Analyze the relationship between the Four Ultimate Truths and Aristotle's Philosophy. This article analyzes data from primary and secondary sources and presents it descriptively.

The results of the research found that the four ultimate truths are mind, mental factors, matter, and nirvana, which are the true nature, certainty, and natural conditions that are related to each other. The mind that has mental factors to decorate the mind is different. Mind, mental factors, and materiality depend on causes and factors that support each other, revolving around birth, aging, illness, and death, continuing endlessly. If there is nirvana, mind, mental factors, and materiality will stop circulating in birth and death.

Aristotle's Philosophy In terms of the truth of all things, there are both thoughts and substance. They cannot be separated. Both are true. Train the mind to think correctly and be able to extract the truth from objects. Birth, change, and decay are universal laws of all things. In terms of goodness, morality is the highest good. In psychology, there are three levels of spirit. The lowest spirit is found in plants and controls life. The animal spirit has feelings. The highest spirit is the thinking spirit, the reasoning spirit found only in humans, the only type that can think.

The relationship between ultimate truth and Aristodean's philosophy Consistency In terms of acceptance, there are many levels of reality that are connected through the process of the mind and perception. In terms of the law of change and causality, it accepts that everything changes and depends on causal factors to arise and cease. In terms of the highest goal, it sees true happiness as above objects and external factors. It is a state of calm mind and wisdom. Differences In terms of characteristics, the highest truth is Nirvana, which is emptiness without self, while God is a complete self. In terms of mind and spirit, ultimate truth denies the true self. Aristotelian Philosophy accepts the existence of the soul. In terms of the process of liberation, the ultimate truth 4 emphasizes letting go and destroying the ego. Aristotelian Philosophy emphasizes the development of the ego.
