The objectives of this study on “An Assessment of the Implementation of the Juvenile and Family Court and Juvenile and Family Procedure Act.B.E.2553” are to study the cause of problems and obstructions in the process of juvenile justice proceedings, to assess the juvenile justice agencies in comply with the Act and to study measures for the diversion of case out of juvenile justice proceeding. The study showed that there are work difficulties in each step of Justice Process starting from arresting of juvenile delinquency to rehabilitating of juvenile delinquency. These problems occurred from lacking of understanding of principle and will of the Act of juvenile delinquency justice organizations, lacking of personnel and budget to run the program and lacking of cooperation among the concerned agencies on the rehabilitation of juvenile delinquency. Some juvenile delinquency is not proceed to the proper treatment programs and lead to recidivism. Therefore, law and Juvenile Justice Mechanism should be revised.
